Synopsis

Mantan pemain bisbol yang berubah menjadi penjahat taishi fura secara tidak sengaja menyaksikan “ghoul” pemakan manusia yang dikenal sebagai lantern melukai teman lamanya dan membunuh yang lain. sebelum situasi menjadi lebih buruk, teman sekelas fura kishou arima tiba―karena ia sebenarnya adalah penyelidik rahasia untuk komisi counter ghoul (ccg)―dan memaksa ghoul tersebut untuk melarikan diri.

untuk membalas dendam bagi teman-temannya, fura bergabung dengan arima untuk memburu ghoul di bangsal ke-13—yang pada akhirnya bertujuan untuk menjatuhkan lantern.

tokyo ghoul: “jack” mengungkap potongan-potongan kehidupan di masa lalu untuk “reaper” ccg yang menakutkan, arima, memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana ia menghabiskan masa sekolah menengahnya.
