Synopsis

Di sebuah kota pedesaan yang tenang, sorotan tim sepak bola sekolah menengah pertama setempat tertuju pada satu pemain: Ashito Aoi. Dikenal karena gerakannya yang tidak terduga dan gaya bermain yang mementingkan diri sendiri, Ashito adalah satu-satunya pemain hebat yang membawa timnya melewati turnamen pendahuluan sekolah menengah yang penting. Akan tetapi, kemenangan beruntun mereka hanya berlangsung sebentar—seorang lawan membuat Ashito kehilangan kesabaran dan bertindak kasar, yang mengakibatkan ia dikeluarkan dari sisa pertandingan.

Tanpa pemain bintang mereka, tim tersebut dengan cepat tersingkir dari turnamen. Tepat saat ia yakin semua harapan telah hilang, Ashito didekati oleh seorang pelatih tim muda bernama Tatsuya Fukuda yang merasakan potensi dalam dirinya, dan Fukuda mengundangnya untuk mengikuti uji coba di Tokyo. Di lingkungan yang tidak dikenal dan dikelilingi oleh bakat, Ashito harus mengeluarkan kemampuan terbaiknya untuk membuktikan dirinya dan mengamankan apa yang dapat menjadi karier yang mengubah hidup.
