Synopsis

Ken Kaneki adalah seorang pemuda yang berteman dengan Rize Kamishiro yang cantik dan misterius, tanpa menyadari bahwa dia adalah seorang ghoul. Rize mengungkapkan niatnya untuk memakan Kaneki, tetapi berkat keberuntungan, Kaneki selamat dari serangannya tetapi terluka parah. Dia diselamatkan oleh operasi darurat, mentransfer organ Rize ke dalam dirinya sendiri. Hal ini kemudian mengubahnya menjadi manusia setengah ghoul dan setengah manusia, dan Kaneki berjuang untuk bertahan hidup dan mengatasinya sendiri. (sumber: wikipedia)
